doctl compute droplet-action rename <droplet-id> [flags]


Use this command to rename a Droplet. When using a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) this also updates the pointer (PTR) record.


Option Description
--droplet-name Droplet name (required)
--format Columns for output in a comma-separated list. Possible values: ID, Status, Type, StartedAt, CompletedAt, ResourceID, ResourceType, Region
--help , -h Help for this command
--no-header Return raw data with no headers
Default: false
--wait Wait for action to complete
