pydo.endpoint_versions.delete()

Generated on 6 Nov 2026 from pydo version v0.45.0

Usage

client.endpoint_versions.delete(
    version_id="1b4d4e0f-9a7c-4d5b-8f3c-2a6e6e8f0a13.v1",
)
Returns None Raises HttpResponseError

Description

Deletes a live version. Only the endpoint owner may delete versions. Deleting the head makes the highest-numbered remaining live version the head. With no live versions, the endpoint MCP URL fails closed until another version is published. Inaccessible or deleted versions return 404 endpoint_version_not_found, and so does a version of a service-managed endpoint, exactly as for an unknown ID. Deletion is final for the version identity. Retries, replays, and later writes cannot resurrect it. Reusing identical contents requires a new version identity and version number.

Parameters

version_id string required

Example: 1b4d4e0f-9a7c-4d5b-8f3c-2a6e6e8f0a13.v1

Composite version ID only. Invalid IDs return 400 invalid_endpoint_version_id.
