v0.45.0
Usage
client.endpoint_versions.create_promotion(
endpoint_id="1b4d4e0f-9a7c-4d5b-8f3c-2a6e6e8f0a13",
body={
"version_id": "1b4d4e0f-9a7c-4d5b-8f3c-2a6e6e8f0a13.v1",
},
)Description
Copies a live version’s configuration into a new, higher-numbered head version and sets promoted_from_version_number. Existing versions never change. Only the endpoint owner may promote. An inaccessible endpoint returns 404 endpoint_not_found, and a deleted, unknown, or different endpoint’s version returns 404 endpoint_version_not_found. The new version always has a new identity and number, even for identical contents; deleted identities are never resurrected. Head replacement does not change the endpoint’s Insights consent, which applies to every version.
