Usage

doctl apps create-deployment <app id> [flags]

Description

Deploys the app with the latest changes from your repository.

Example

The following example creates a deployment for an app with the ID f81d4fae-7dec-11d0-a765-00a0c91e6bf6. Additionally, the command returns the app’s ID and status:

doctl apps create-deployment f81d4fae-7dec-11d0-a765-00a0c91e6bf6 --format ID,Status

Flags

Option Description
--force-rebuild Force a re-build even if a previous build is eligible for reuse.
Default: false
--format Columns for output in a comma-separated list. Possible values: ID, Cause, Progress, Phase, Created, Updated.
--help , -h Help for this command
--no-header Return raw data with no headers

--wait Boolean that specifies whether to wait for the deployment to complete before allowing further terminal input. This can be helpful for scripting.
