How to Configure DOKS for NAT Gateway

A Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) is a private network interface for collections of DigitalOcean resources. VPC networks are inaccessible from the public internet and other VPC networks, and traffic on them doesn’t count against bandwidth usage. You can link VPC networks to each other using VPC peering connections.

To use a NAT gateway with DOKS, enable the routing agent on your cluster. Then, configure your routes to use the NAT gateway’s Routing table IP address, which you can find on the NAT gateway’s details page.

To navigate to the NAT gateway’s detail page, click Networking in the main menu, then click VPC. Click the VPC that contains the NAT gateway, then click the NAT Gateways tab. Click the name of the NAT gateway to open its detail page.
