MySQL Pricing

MySQL is an open source, object-relational database built with speed and reliability in mind. Its large and active developer community has created many third-party applications, tools, and libraries that expand MySQL’s functionality.
MySQL cluster pricing depends on the edition, plan, and node configuration:

Standard Edition single-node clusters begin at $15.00 per month for a cluster with 1 GiB of RAM. Single-node clusters aren’t highly available, but they feature automatic failover. We recommend them for preliminary development and testing.

Standard Edition high availability clusters begin at $30.00 per month for a 2 GiB RAM/1 vCPU primary node with at least one matching standby node at $30.00 per month. Standby nodes provide automatic failover if the primary node becomes unavailable.
You can add or remove Standard Edition standby nodes at any time. Other features, such as point-in-time recovery and read-only nodes, vary by database engine. See Managed Databases feature availability for details.

Read-only nodes begin at $15.00 per month. Read-only nodes are replicas of a cluster’s primary node located in additional geographical regions.
Traffic to and from managed databases does not count against your bandwidth billing transfer allowance.
Additional storage you add to a Standard Edition cluster costs $0.215 per GiB per month.
Advanced Edition clusters begin at $130.00 per month for an 8 GiB RAM/2 vCPU node. Advanced Edition clusters can add two standby nodes for high availability. Three-node clusters bill for each node at the same rate. Additional storage costs $0.115 per GiB per month.
Beginning 15 October 2026 for new accounts and 30 November 2026 for all accounts, new Standard Edition clusters cannot use plans with more than 4 GiB of RAM or add standby or read-only nodes. See PostgreSQL and MySQL plan changes.
