Standby Node

A standby node is a node that is set aside idling on hot standby.

The standby node will automatically replace the primary node when failure occurs.

Due to the memory requirements of replication, standby nodes are only supported for plans with 2GB of RAM or more.

MongoDB

Currently, MongoDB clusters can only have two standby nodes. Adding standby nodes is optional to cluster configuration and can affect the monthly cost.

MySQL

Currently, MySQL clusters can only have two standby nodes. Adding standby nodes is optional to cluster configuration and can affect the monthly cost.

PostgreSQL

Currently, PostgreSQL clusters can only have two standby nodes. Adding standby nodes is optional to cluster configuration and can affect the monthly cost.

Redis

Currently, Redis clusters can only have two standby nodes. Adding standby nodes is optional to cluster configuration and can affect the monthly cost.
