Mesh VPN

Mesh Virtual Private Networks (Mesh VPNs) are a peer-to-peer architecture where every node or peer in the network can connect directly to each other without a central gateway.

A full-mesh VPN is an architecture where every site within the same VPN can directly communicate with other sites within the same VPN.

We restrict some Droplet network traffic to help prevent malicious actions, like reflected DDoS attacks. A reflection amplification attack, or reflexted DDoS attack, is a type of Distributed Denial-of-Service cyberattack where attackers magnify the amount of traffic generated in order to overwhelm the target and disrupt or shut down systems and services. Mesh VPNs are a workaround solution.
