Bare Metal

Bare metal is a physical server in Paperspace that is dedicated exclusively to a single user without any virtualization layer.

Bare metal provides consistent performance while avoiding the ’noisy neighbor’ effect which is a byproduct of using virtual environments. Users have direct control over the bare metal machine’s configuration, operation system, and software.

Bare metal is ideal for intensive or heavy workloads such as large-scale simulation or real-time processing.
