You can use it to monitor the latency, uptime, and SSL certificate of any website or host, and can choose to receive alerts via email or Slack when your site is down, experiencing high latency, or has an SSL certificate that’s about to expire. Uptime Checks are not tied to specific DigitalOcean datacenter regions or services. You may set up uptime monitoring on any URL or IP endpoint regardless of where it is hosted. The monitoring probes will be run from your choice of one or more of the following regions:
