How to Enable or Disable Advanced Desktop Streaming Settings

Machines are Linux and Windows virtual machines with persistent storage, GPU options, and free unlimited bandwidth. They’re designed for high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.

Desktop streaming has two advanced settings: GAMER MODE and Emulate USB Mouse.

  • Gamer Mode: Enables relative mouse movements, snapping to specific resolutions, and helps control the bit rate.
  • Emulate USB Mouse: Enables you to use an emulated USB mouse to help resolve mouse issues in gaming or certain applications.

You can toggle these settings in the Advanced Settings window. When you’re streaming a desktop, in the top left corner, click the small circle button to open the dropdown menu. Click Advanced Settings to open the Advanced Settings window.

In the Advanced Settings window, you can toggle gamer mode, which allows you to press CTRL-B to capture mouse movement, or emulate a USB mouse, though this may reduce movement accuracy due to emulation limitations.
