Creating an App using the API

In addition to creating a Droplet from the Nextcloud 1-Click App using the control panel, you can also use the DigitalOcean API. As an example, to create a 4GB Nextcloud Droplet in the SFO2 region, you can use the following curl command. You need to either save your API access token) to an environment variable or substitute it in the command below.

Getting Started After Deploying Nextcloud

Create new server

  1. Create the Nextcloud AIO server
  2. Optionally, set up DNS for a hostname that you want to use, using the given ip-address and open the admin interface at https://nextcloud.yourdomain.com:8443 in order to get the initial password
  3. Alternatively open the admin interface at https://given.ip.address:8080 in order to get the initial password
  4. Follow the shown instructions
