Creating an App using the Control Panel
Click the Deploy to DigitalOcean button to create a Droplet based on this 1-Click App. If you aren’t logged in, this link will prompt you to log in with your DigitalOcean account.
Creating an App using the API
In addition to creating a Droplet from the Jelastic PaaS 1-Click App using the control panel, you can also use the DigitalOcean API. As an example, to create a 4GB Jelastic PaaS Droplet in the SFO2 region, you can use the following curl command. Getting Started After Deploying Jelastic PaaS
Select a Droplet that meets Virtuozzo Application platform Cloud Edition infrastructure requirements and access it via SSH under the root user to complete the installation process following the instructions:
After deployment, please check your email to find admin credentials for the installed platform.
As an admin user, you get access to VAPCluster Admin panel, intended to customize your Lite PaaS (use credentials from email to log in). Here, you can tune your Private Cloud in the desired way. As a basis of exploration, try to:
- set different settings combinations
- add more Droplets to the cluster
- customize user interface elements
- adjust user groups with different level of access
- monitor cluster statistics and user actions, etc
To get the end-user experience, refer to the Virtuozzo dashboard, where all environments and applications are managed. You can log in with the same credentials or, if needed, register a new non-admin account. Here, you can give a try to the main Jelastic functionality in the confines of hosting and application management:
