  • Automatic garbage collection for DigitalOcean Container Registry (DOCR) is now available in public preview. When enabled, DOCR automatically cleans up unreferenced image layers and untagged manifests in the background, freeing storage without requiring manual garbage collection runs or read-only downtime.
