How to Suppress Findings

The DigitalOcean Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) dashboard lets you scan your DigitalOcean resources for cloud misconfigurations and security risks. The dashboard lists issues by severity and provides mitigation steps for resolving them.

If you’re satisfied with the configuration of certain resources and don’t want to see alerts for them in the CSPM dashboard, you can suppress those resources. Suppressed resources are still scanned and do not reduce costs.

To suppress a resource, go to the Control Panel and click Security in the left menu. On the CSPM page, find the alert you want to suppress, click the icon to its right, and click Suppress.

In the Suppression Confirmation dialog, for each resource you want to suppress, type its name in the Resources search bar or select it in the Resource table.

To confirm your changes, click Confirm Suppressions.
