CSPM Quickstart

Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) evaluates your DigitalOcean resources for misconfigurations and security risks, surfaces findings by severity, and provides guidance to help you resolve them.
Enable CSPM

In the Control Panel, click Security in the left navigation.
The Security page opens with the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tab selected.

Click Enable CSPM and choose a plan (Free or Basic).

Confirm your selection.
Run a Scan
Every scan is manually triggered. CSPM does not run scans on a schedule.

On the CSPM page, click Run Scan (or Scan Again if you’ve already run your first scan).

Wait for the scan to complete. Scans evaluate your resource configurations and do not cause downtime.
Review Findings

After the scan completes, review the list of issues organized by severity.

Click an issue to view its details, including the affected resources, business impact, and remediation steps.
