Network File Storage is a fully managed, POSIX-compliant file storage solution built for demanding workloads like AI/ML pipelines, containerized applications, and DigitalOcean Kubernetes (DOKS) clusters. It provides scalable, high-throughput shared storage that simplifies storage management for distributed applications.
The Network File Storage API endpoints are organized into the following groups:
- NFS (7 endpoints): NFS lets you create fully managed, POSIX-compliant network file storage that delivers secure, high-performance shared storage right inside your VPC. This enables seamless data sharing across Droplets in a VPC.
- NFS Actions (1 endpoints): NFS actions are tasks that can be executed on an NFS share. These can be things like resizing, snapshotting, etc.
