AMD Developer Cloud gives developers direct access to AMD GPU acceleration built on DigitalOcean infrastructure. Its preconfigured environments and transparent credit system are designed for students, researchers, and AI startups.
Quick Start Image
We strongly recommend creating AMD Developer Cloud GPU Droplets using our default Quick Start image. This image has AMD drivers and software preinstalled and configured in a Docker container to help you get started.
The Quick Start image is based on Ubuntu 24.04 and includes:
amdgpu-dkms: 6.12.12
in host machinerocm: 6.4.0
in host machinerocm: 6.4.0
in Docker imageJupyterLab: 4.4.2
in Docker image
You can choose this image when you create a GPU Droplet from the control panel or specify it by slug name when you create a GPU using the API or doctl
. For all single- and multi-GPU Droplets, use the slug digitaloceanai-rocmjupyter
.
