# How do I switch the Google or GitHub account I use to log in to DigitalOcean? You cannot switch directly between accounts from the same SSO provider. Instead, switch to a different login method, then switch back to the SSO provider and choose the account you want to use. For example, if you want to use a different Google account for SSO, change your login method to either email and password or GitHub SSO. Then, change it back to Google and select the account you want. ## Related Topics [I lost access to the GitHub account I use to sign into DigitalOcean](https://docs.digitalocean.com/support/i-lost-access-to-the-github-account-i-use-to-sign-into-digitalocean/index.html.md): Try to restore access to your GitHub account by following GitHub’s account recovery process or 2FA credential recovery process.
