# How do I change my app's GitHub repository on App Platform?

You can change an app’s source repository by updating the [app’s spec](https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/app-platform/reference/app-spec/index.html.md). In the app’s spec file, you can update the `repo` value nested in the `github` block with the name of your new repository.
