### 1 October

- The DigitalOcean API now supports querying Insights metrics and logs and managing alert rules and notification channels in [public preview](https://docs.digitalocean.com/platform/product-lifecycle/index.html.md#public-preview). - DigitalOcean Insights is now available in [public preview](https://docs.digitalocean.com/platform/product-lifecycle/index.html.md#public-preview), providing dashboards, metrics, logs, traces, and metric alerts for supported DigitalOcean resources and regions. ## September 2026

### 22 September

- DigitalOcean Insights is now enabled by default when you create a new DigitalOcean Managed Agents resource. Insights is in [private preview](https://docs.digitalocean.com/platform/product-lifecycle/index.html.md#private-preview).

### 16 September

- DigitalOcean Insights now supports exploring and querying metrics in [private preview](https://docs.digitalocean.com/platform/product-lifecycle/index.html.md#private-preview). You can explore, filter, compare, and save metrics to dashboards. ### 10 September

- DigitalOcean Insights now supports tracing in [private preview](https://docs.digitalocean.com/platform/product-lifecycle/index.html.md#private-preview). You can search, filter, and inspect traces and spans for supported resources and regions.
