pydo.toolbelts.delete_tools()

Generated on 1 Oct 2026 from pydo version v0.43.0

Usage

client.toolbelts.delete_tools(
    name="search-toolbelt",
    body={
        "tools": [...],
    },
)
Returns JSONRaises HttpResponseError

Description

Removes the listed tools and returns the toolbelt. When membership changes, this creates a new version that keeps the display name and description. Tools that are not members are ignored, and removing every tool is allowed; deleting the toolbelt itself is a separate DELETE. Returns 400 when a pin differs from the version the toolbelt holds, and 404 for an unknown or deleted toolbelt.

Parameters

name string required

Toolbelt name, from the path.

tools array of strings required

Example: ['exa_web_search']

Tool slugs (<provider>_<name>) to add or remove, each optionally pinned as <tool_slug>@<version>. At least one is required. When adding, a pin must equal the tool's current released version.
