doctl harness-runtime triggers cancel-execution

Generated on 1 Oct 2026 from doctl version v1.177.0

Usage

doctl harness-runtime triggers cancel-execution <trigger-id> <execution-id> [flags]

Description

Cancel a running trigger execution and free the trigger’s queue. For a fresh-mode trigger the session is destroyed outright. For a reuse-mode trigger the session is only paused — the platform has no run-interrupt call today, so the agent’s turn may still be in flight even after this returns. Cancelling an execution that has not started a run yet returns an error; pass --force to cancel anyway, or wait — the platform’s own reclaim sweep clears that case automatically within 15 minutes regardless.

Example

doctl harness-runtime triggers cancel-execution TRIGGER_ID EXECUTION_ID --force
