# Deployments Limits

Paperspace Deployments are containers-as-a-service that allow you to run container images and serve machine learning models using a high-performance, low-latency service with a RESTful API.

- Gradient Deployments can be run on the available [Gradient machines](https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/paperspace/notebooks/details/pricing/index.html.md). However, Free-tier machines are not available for deployments.
- The [Paperspace CLI](https://docs.digitalocean.com/reference/paperspace/gradient/index.html.md) doesn’t support retrieving Gradient Deployment metrics. These metrics are only displayed through the [Paperspace console](https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/paperspace/deployments/how-to/view-deployment-metrics/index.html.md).
