Creating an App using the API

In addition to creating a Droplet from the CAST AI Kubernetes 1.18 1-Click App using the control panel, you can also use the DigitalOcean API. As an example, to create a 4GB CAST AI Kubernetes 1.18 Droplet in the SFO2 region, you can use the following curl command. You need to either save your API access token) to an environment variable or substitute it in the command below.

Getting Started After Deploying CAST AI Kubernetes 1.18

This image main purpose is to be used by CAST AI platform to provision managed multi-cloud kubernetes clusters.

However you can use it as a base image for bootstrapping your own kubernetes cluster.

Use ssh or connect with basic authorization to the droplet. Then use kubeadm to initialize or join existing cluster.

To connect to the created droplet run: ssh [email protected]_droplet_public_ipv4
