DigitalOcean billing cycles are monthly. Your account balance accrues over the course of the calendar month based on the cost of the resources you use. We are also required by law to apply taxes for certain countries.
We automatically invoice and charge your account’s primary payment method on the first day of each month for the previous month’s usage, or partway through the month if you exceed your account’s usage threshold.
We now support ACH direct debit payments for qualifying customers with U.S. bank accounts. Learn more about managing payment methods on DigitalOcean.
