# Discounts

Discounts reduce the price of a product or service. If you have a discount applied to your team, it appears on your [invoice](https://docs.digitalocean.com/platform/billing/invoices/index.html.md) as a line item with a description and the amount of the discount.

You can also see your team’s discounts on [the **Billing** page](https://cloud.digitalocean.com/account/billing), in the **Discounts** section. The table in this section lists your team’s active discounts with the following information:

- **Discount**, which is the name of the discount
- **Start Month** and **End Month**
- **Discount Percentage**

When a discount expires, it no longer appears in the table.
